Joey Barton to Fleetwood - seriously!

Not as daft as it sounds actually!

He's banned for 12 matches - which at QPR would take him up to the 17th November BUT the FA rules allow him to serve his ban at another club so he could go to somewhere like Fleetwood who play more matches over the season - and his 12th game ban if served there would be up on the 13th October - allowing him to be playing for QPR after just missing just 7 games!

This story is unreal. It's like writing to BWFC saying "I'm going to sneak into every home game this season, here's how it is done" and then expecting them to allow it. Barton is so thick and so pleased with himself he couldn't keep his trap shut.

Very Beckham-esque. I refer of course to the situation where he had accumulated yellows and was carded in a game and had been injured so he deliberately got himself red-carded to clear his accumulated yellows while he was out injured. He said words to the effect of "People think I'm not clever, but I am."

I can't believe the powers that be will allow this.
