Wanderers' Under-18s bounced back to winning ways by defeating their Hull City counterparts by two goals to nil on Saturday.
A game which the Whites dominated from start to finish, the goalscoring was opened in the tenth minute through Dennis Politic.
The remainder of the first half continued in a similar vein, but Nicky Spooner's side were unable to extend their lead.
Following the restart however, Bolton's advantage was doubled with Politic again on the scoresheet, firing home from a Cameron Moore cross.
The teenager then had the chance to notch a hat-trick after being brought down in the box, but his effort from 12 yards smashed against the post.
It mattered not at the final whistle however as the Trotters ran out comfortable winners.
Bolton: Turner, Grant, White, Marsh, Broughton, Grivosti, Everest, Jones-Griffiths, Fearnley, Politic, Moore
