Wanderers will know whether Ben Alnwick and Andy Taylor will miss the rest of the season in the next 24 hours.
Alnwick underwent a scan late this afternoon on medial knee ligament damage and the club will wait for the radiologist’s verdict before making their next move.
Taylor limped off with a calf injury in the 2-0 win over Shrewsbury Town and will have a scan tomorrow to ascertain how severe the tear to his muscle actually was.
Wanderers are hoping for better news on Gary Madine, who also saw a specialist today.
The striker was forced off the pitch after hurting his thigh on Saturday and it is hoped the damage was superficial.
