Wanderers' Under-23s drew 2-2 with their Watford counterparts in their latest league encounter on Monday afternoon.
Bolton started the game brighlty and took full advantage of their dominance by opening the scoring through Matthew Fearnley.
The goal itself came from a good phase of play, with Alex Perry switching play to Callum Spooner who delivered the perfect cross for Fearnley to volley home from ten yards.
Spooner was again involved for the Whites' second, with him running into the box before being brought down for a penalty kick which George Newell converted before half time.
In the second period however, Wanderers' youngsters proceeded to concede twice in quick succession to ensure that the spoils were shared come the final whistle.
They are however seven games unbeaten in the U23 Professional Development League with the end of the season drawing near.
Bolton: Jaaskelainen, Spooner, Lonsdale, Grivosti (Lavelle 70'), Brockbank, Perry, Griffiths (White 75'), King, Earing, Newell (Samizadeh 85'), Fearnley
