I've got it covered, Angry Dad. I'm just going to go for a bit of Pascal's Wager action on my death bed - job done.

Well it hasn't been "proven" because it's impossible. But everybody knows once the brain ceases to function there's absolutely nothing that can possibly happen to a human body.

It's already proven that there is.

You can't prove a negative. I take the view that there is no proof of either and am therefore an atheist.

I assume this is a joke, but if it's not I'm sure we would all like to see the proof.

In my lifetime I have rarely prayed for good things to happen to me personally, the one time I did was about 5 minutes before the Play-Off final against PNE kicked off.
Dispute that evidence.

Why weren't you praying on the last day of the season?

The proof is all around you xmiles, someone had to create life.
Failing that, Michael Ricketts running 60 yards to score a goal at Wembley should convince you.

An interesting and exciting (to me) question posed by the angriest of Dads.
I would not change my thinking or my ways purely because I already feel there is no proof either way. If somebody could prove to me that god existed I may change but it is always going to be impossible to prove that he doesn't exist - but I already live my life believing that god and an afterlife do not exist.
Oh, and this does not lead to me taking and doing what ever I can get away with - although after being asked that question, I do wonder why I don't.
