I thought it might only have been me who has never watched Love Island nor had any wish to do so but seems I'm not alone.

Former Wanderer Reece Wabara has tweeted this -

I'll be damned if you ever catch me watching love island. Sums up the current generation. Focused on others lives who have no direction...

Of course he got masses of stick from the twitter generationers who Love Island is aimed at (my daughter for one watches it) but he's broadly right in what he says.

Anybody on here watch Love Island (should Natasha be parachuted in perhaps) and do you and yours 'love' it?

It's a sad reflection of our times. It's not the only programme aimed at this type of audience either.
Check out 'Naked Attraction' on CH4,a dating show in which two singletons choose a date from a selection of six naked people, who will be revealed to them one body part at a time.
The mind really does boggle.

Because I had heard so much about it I tried watching Love Island but gave up after 10 minutes. What an incredible parade of morons. I simply don't understand the attraction at all.

I'm waiting for a dating show for the over 80's. There's a commissioning editor out there just waiting for the idea to crop up.
Dating for dogs would be next, followed by Love My Parrot and I Married A Corpse.
