Loan watch: Ben Amos starts in Charlton defeat

Ben Amos started for Charlton Athletic as they lost away at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

Having sat out the Addicks' Carabao Cup victory over Exeter City in midweek, the shot-stopper returned to complete the full 90 minutes at Home Park.

A second half Jake Jervis brace secured a 2-0 victory for the home side, leaving Charlton 13th in the Sky Bet League One table.

The Addicks are back in action next weekend as they host Northampton Town at The Valley.

You really have to wonder if clubs bother scouting these days. He was bloody awful for us and by all accounts was shite at Cardiff.

But he was once on Man Utd's books so he must be ace.
