Wanderers will hope a reunion with match officials Oliver Langford and Scott Duncan runs without incident tomorrow night.

West Midlands ref Langford failed to send off Hull City’s David Meyler earlier this season for an X-rated challenge on Jem Karacan.

Appointed to Select Group 2 in 2016, Langford also issued nine yellow cards in the 3-1 victory over Barnsley in December.

Duncan is fourth official at the Macron and sent off Mark Little in Wanderers’ 2-0 defeat at QPR’s Loftus Road in February.

Phil Parkinson was later reprimanded by the Football Association for his comments after the game, which referred to the match officials as “weak”.

Birmingham will be backed by a sell-out away following and are on somewhat of a roll after victories against Hull City and Ipswich Town either side of the international break.

Manager Garry Monk has now managed to take the Blues out of the bottom three but accepts the situation could change quickly.

“Of course we are aware of where they (Bolton) are, the permutations of each game and what they could mean,” he said.

“But, look, we have to fight for ourselves. For everyone here, our fans of this club. That’s what we will be concentrating on.

“If we do that, you can see what the benefits are and then what will be, will be. It’s about ourselves, what we do. They key is to rely on ourselves, we don’t want to rely on anyone else.

“When you take that many fans, you want to reward them. We’re on their shoulder, we’re chasing those guys above. But, like I said, we are focusing on ourselves.”
