We seem to have given up, Parkinson definitely has, no doubt he'll chop and change yet again, Harris will have them fired up, we'll get dicked.

‘Chop and change yet again’ Laughing

If he doesn’t make changes he’s not flexible enough, if he does he’s too busy chopping and changing. All a bit ridiculous Martin.

We'll get tonked. There will be fighting amongst the Bolton fans. The bedsheets will be burnt outside the ground.

We won’t get anything from this game but we will away at Barnsley & Burton.

I know we have only won once this season on the road but that will change soon!

Keep the faith! Very Happy

We need to steady the defense... and I'm not sure how we do it.  Why did we only get 2 points from the first eleven games?  Why have we only managed 2 points (to date) from the last 8?  We need to keep clean sheets... if it cost 50,000 pounds for Wheater to play, then so be it.  Hopefully he is not too disillusioned.  Wheater, for one, did forego bonuses last season.  Wheater took a pay cut to play for us.  His heart is in the right place.  Now we need KA and Parky to get his head into the game and partner with Beevers (who looked lost at times vs Derby) into holding the opposition scoreless.  If we can do that, we can stay up.  Of course, it would be nice to have Morais feeding some balls into the box that ALF can get to or poach in front.  It's a long season with twists and turns, and hopefully, we twist back into staying up by a point or two.

We need to win this, as the other teams around us have tough games Brum away at Bristol, Barnsley away at Ipswich, Reading away at Fulham, 3 points on Tuesday and it'll look a little better, so Parkinson has to go all out for it, no playing for the nil.

McCarthy has thrown in the towel, what have the team to play for?

It could well be three points for Barnsley.

Players still get win bonuses so there's an incentive.

Its a must win but so was Birmingham.....

I think a draw is the best we can hope for at the moment, Millwall are pushing for the play-offs and Parky hasn't a clue which team or formation to play.

Yet another game in which I'm hoping Parky has a "road to Damascus" moment and sees the light instead of going for the same old selection and tactics with some minor shuffling of the deckchairs on the Titanic.
We've been here many times before and not just with this manager, however I just don't think it's in Parky's DNA to try anything vaguely adventurous so I have to go with form and predict a loss or at best a draw.
And with Barnsley having a good chance of beating Ipswich, a draw won't be good enough to keep us out of the bottom three.  We have to win our remaining home matches regardless of who we're playing so we'll be needing a miracle around about now.

Ref watch: Keith Stroud takes the whistle for Millwall visit

Keith Stroud will be the man in the middle when Wanderers host Millwall in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday night.

The Hampshire-based official has taken charge of two Whites matches this campaign – the 0-0 draw with Norwich City in February and the 5-1 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers in November.

Stroud has handed out 130 yellow cards and seven red cards from 30 outings so far this season.

Billy Smallwood and Jonathan Hunt will run the line, while Robert Jones is the fourth official.

Apparantly Conor Hall wasn’t with the under 23s for today’s 3-0 loss today.  Maybe he gets a game tomorrow.  A total lack of reporting on the game too so maybe we want to use it as a surprise option.  Or maybe the twitter guy was poorly or something

Preview: Five talking points ahead of Bolton Wanderers v Millwall

As Wanderers prepare to welcome Millwall to Macron Stadium on Tuesday night, bwfc.co.uk highlights five talking points ahead of the match.

1. Last night game

Wanderers take on Millwall on Tuesday in their last night game of the season.

With the Whites needing to respond after recent defeats to Leeds United, Birmingham City and Derby County, manager Phil Parkinson has called on Bolton's supporters to be the 12th man and make the difference at Macron Stadium.

With night games always guaranteeing a special atmosphere, the players will need you – our fantastically loyal supporters - in full voice to create a buzzing atmosphere and get BL6 rocking under the lights!

2. Bouncing back

The Trotters will be looking to make home advantage count and bounce back in front of their home fans on Tuesday after suffering three consecutive defeats.

Wanderers could potentially move two places clear of the relegation zone with a victory over The Lions, giving them some extra breathing space ahead of the final four games of the season.

The team’s form at Macron Stadium has been impressive this season, with last Tuesday’s defeat to Birmingham City only their second on home turf since the Christmas period and just their third since late-September.

And with every point vital in the Whites' quest to secure their place in the Sky Bet Championship next season, Bolton know how important a positive result could prove to be come the end of the campaign.

3. Head-to-head

Having completed a league double over Millwall last season, the Trotters boast a fantastic record against their East London counterparts.

It’s been 45 years since Millwall picked up three points on Wanderers soil, stretching way back into the Burnden Park era, while the Whites are unbeaten in their last eight games against the Lions with their last defeat coming back in October 2012.

The most recent meeting between the two sides saw a 1-1 draw back in August, as Filipe Morais scored an outstanding free-kick against his former employers to earn Bolton a deserved share of the spoils.

And having also won their last three home meetings with Millwall, the Trotters will be keen to ensure their recent fortunes against the Lions continues comes 8pm on Tuesday night.

4. Injury news

Captain Darren Pratley remains doubtful for Tuesday's game while Jan Kirchhoff is ruled out, but Filipe Morais is battling back from a niggling injury which has kept him out of action since Good Friday.

"Filipe is looking a lot better which is good news for us," said the gaffer. "He’s got a real determination to get out there and play.

"Darren is also making progress – we’re frustrated that he can’t play at the moment but with a nerve injury it’s very difficult for the specialist to give a definitive answer on his return.

"The medical staff are doing everything they can to get him back involved."

5. Kids for a quid and free upgrades

Following the 21,097 crowd in the last home encounter – the highest attendance of the campaign - the club have extended the special Kids for a Quid offer, encouraging supporters to bring the whole family to Macron Stadium.

This means children under the age of 18 can watch their heroes for just £1, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

Other tickets for the match are priced at £26 for adults and £20 for over-65s and under-23s.

Fans can purchase their tickets in person at Bolton Central or by calling 0844 871 2932, option 2 then option 1 or by booking tickets online.

Concessionary season card holders wishing to upgrade their tickets for this match can also do so free of charge.

Supporters with under-18, under-23, over-65 and over-75 season cards are able to upgrade their ticket to a full adult.

In order for adults to use a concessionary season card, they need to simply present the card at the turnstile to gain entry to the stadium. No paper upgrade ticket will be needed for this game.

Looks like BudgieGate hasn't affected Parky's opinion of Morais.
