Simon has...could you?

According to the news this morning,Simon Cowell hasn't used his mobile phone for ten months,and is much happier,and healthier,for it.
Could you live without yours?
I'm sick of people barging into me because they're too busy looking at their phone.

It's easy to get so wrapped up in phones, texting, internet, social media, football forums, etc to the point that you can't be bothered with anything else. So Whittam tells me anyway.

Just going slightly off topic, I can't believe the number of people you see now driving while texting. If you're texting and driving, are you any better - more in control of the car - than somebody who's driving after having a shedful?

I value my phone and would certainly be lost without it, however when out socialising, I very rarely use my phone apart from to take a few photos with it. 

If I'm at work and a customer in the queue is on their mobile phone, I skip them and serve the next customer.

Deleting twitter and stopping using Facebook, for the most part, has greatly enhanced my free time and peace of mind. Highly recommend both
