What could it be!?
EDIT
Bolton Wanderers are pleased to announce that Ben Alnwick has agreed a new two-year deal with the club.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper was voted the Whites’ Player of the Year by supporters last season after helping the club secure Sky Bet Championship survival.
Initially joining Wanderers on a free transfer from Peterborough United on transfer deadline day in August 2016, he also helped the Trotters win promotion to the second tier in 2017.
Having made 67 appearances to date during his time with the club, he has established himself as Phil Parkinson’s first-choice goalkeeper during his two years at BL6.
And with his contract due to expire this summer, Wanderers havemoved quickly to extend Alnwick’s stay at Macron Stadium.
Speaking to bwfc.co.uk after putting pen to paper, the shot-stopper said: "We’ve been talking about the contract for a while now. Once I was able to come down, I was absolutely over the moon to get it signed.
"It was always the plan to get my future sorted out early and it was a no-brainer to stay here. It was all I wanted to do from the end of the season.
"I’ve been knocking on the door all the way through the season to get a new contract because I love it here. I’m settled and it’s somewhere I always wanted to stay."
Manager Parkinson added: "I’m really pleased that we’ve agreed this deal with Ben. He is a great professional, was excellent for us last season and I’m looking forward to working with him over the coming seasons."
