Before you read on, this article is from a site notorious for writing stuff to attracting click bait to it - but I guess they need to get the odd few right every now and again!

Bolton Wanderers have made an offer for Malaga defender Bakary Kone, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Kone is available on a free transfer following Malaga's relegation from La Liga last season.
The experienced central defender spent last season on loan at Ligue 1 side Strasbourg after finding himself down the pecking order at Malaga.

Kone made 33 appearances in all competitions for Strasbourg last season and he impressed during his loan stint.
Bolton have been made aware of Kone's availability and they have tabled an offer to bring the player to England.
Bolton boss Phil Parkinson is keen to add the centre-back to his squad for next season, but the Trotters face competition from a number of Middle East clubs who are also chasing Kone's signature.

Kone boasts a wealth of experience having spent five seasons at Lyon and a further five with Guingamp.

The 30-year-old captains his country Burkina Faso and has won 78 caps for his country up until now.
Bolton are in the market for defensive reinforcements this summer after seeing Dorian Dervite and Derik Osede both leave the club at the end of last season.
