Has the Football World gone Goalkeeper Mad

Is it just me or have teams gone completely mad on Goalkeeper transfer fees. You have keepers now worth more money than any of the outfield players on the same team. If this Chelsea move goes through he is valued higher than Hazard.
Although a good keeper is an obvious asset the fees recently are leaving me speechless.......is just outright daft.

All the fees are daft - even more so for English clubs, but they’re relative to turnover. The £80 million United paid for Pogba in ‘16 was far, far less of a chunk of their turnover than what they paid for Law in ‘62 (18% vs 62%).

Why/how is Hazard worth less? Can’t imagine he’ll leave for less than £150 million.

Liverpool also pissed away millions on their new keeper...and Everton before that. Burnley just spent 3.5 mill on Joe Hart.  So this new lad is at Chelsea is 20 times the keeper of a Joe Hart.....just based on financials.  Nonsense.
Meanwhile BWFC is looking for keepers for free......and with that we will probably get a decent keeper who can step in at Championship level.

Amazing to think Man Utd paid just over half a million for Schmeichel.

Jussi only cost us £100,000.

Grim the money being banded about now a days, it’s like a real life game of fifa.

I hope it will be capped to £20 Mill. No player is worth that really.
