We could have gone level on points with Blackpool had we won but as it was 2-2 leaves us in 8th at this very early stage in the season.

So. Time to choose your man of the match! Select your best three players in the poll (or choose one player if there was a stand-out performer above everyone else).

Player with most votes wins.

I don't like Knight, never have done but I thought he did ok today (how poor was Mills though!) - so I've given my vote to him.

Can't believe Coyle didn't bring some fresh attacking legs on with 10 or so minutes to go - would love to have seen Petrov attacking them or see what Wylde can do - as they wanted to defend - hence their substitution - and we could have put them under so much pressure right at the end of the game - you know exactly the sort of way Coyle 'talks' about playing a game.

Honestly a chocolate tea pot as more footballing tactical savvy than he does!

I was a bit surprised he didn't give Petrov a run out, and I don't know what Wylde has to do to get a few minutes.

Especially considering the Afobe sub didn't play out too well.

Oh no, is Wylde going to turn into the new Sordell on here because he's not played in 3 whole games?

Hipster, what happened to your view that re-signing Zat Knight was the worst decision in the history of football?

So why didn't Coyle play Wylde?

Is that a P for Piss-taker, Keegan?

Er no i just think Wylde has got talent and i'd like to see him play, if he doesn't so be it. I'm not trying to suggest he'd have us winning games by 5.

I think it was a bad decision, we saw tonight that he's still prone to costly errors and his passing hasn't improved one jot, but he won some important headers and made a terrific last ditch tackle.

What costly errors did Knight make tonight? He was our best defender by a mile. You were adamant that it was a terrible decision and he has been our best defender so far, without question. He's on the way to proving you wrong, Hipster. 3 games isn't very many, but he's done very well for someone who has been completely written off by so many people.

The one at the end where he let the ball bounce 3 times and then brought his man down in a dangerous area garnering a booking.

I don't think he's done anything he didn't do before, you're speaking as if he's been a revelation which he most certainly hasn't.

If he has a cracking period of games, i'll happily say so, I'm not worried about "being wrong on the internet"

I'm not budging from my computer until you admit that you are wrong on the internet.

No, for pertinent question. I've been expecting to hear "Wild Thing" burst out over the PA as he takes to the pitch for his home debut as he seemed to have had some good moments in pre-season. I suppose none of us has Coyle's ear though, and would not be able to conclusively say.

I wondered who was in goal for a brief moment. Nice to see him passing short some of the time.

I have to admit SKD had a pretty good game tonight and he was very unlucky to be booked.
