Details of a special memorial service for former Wanderers owner Eddie Davies have been announced.
It will be held at Bolton Parish Church, in Churchgate, on Thursday (November 15) at 1.30pm.
The service is open to anyone who would like to attend and pay their respects to Mr Davies, who died last month aged 72.
“This is an important service to celebrate a great man and to remember and give thanks for all he did for not only Bolton Wanderers but for the wider town and country," said Wanderers' club chaplain Phil Mason, who will conduct the service alongside Rev Canon Dr Chris Bracegirdle.
"I sincerely hope many will take the opportunity to come along and pay their respects to Eddie.
“Our thoughts and prayers remain firmly with his family and friends at this time.”
