A couple of wins would be fantastic, however .......  (I was almost relieved when we didn't have the game streamed on Saturday).

I'm an accountant by profession so I'm mortally offended by your comments.

Sorry Rammy. I'm now fearing a visit from the accountancy demons. Shocked

I'm going to pitch up at your place and show you the real meaning of what double entry is all about!!

Very Happy
I used to have a mate, sadly no longer with us, who was in your line of work, and took great delight in what's known as creative accountancy.
He'd often have a brew with us knuckleheads, and explain his latest idea for saving the company money, but it was all double dutch to us.
He used to laugh at us for calling his job boring.
"It's an art", he'd say, and leave with the last of the biscuits.

Natasha Whittam wrote:Not boring in general sluffy, just this topic. And when anyone has tried to put a differing view across you've dismissed them as having an agenda or playing games.

Most people (like me) sit somewhere in the middle regarding Ken, and you should let people say so without shouting them down.
I've aired my view of Anderson on other threads. And I have to add that, my problem isn't that I'm rabidly anti Anderson, it's that I simply don't trust him.
He was involved in several liquidations, and his record at the Insolvency Service reveals that he's been found guilty of diverting funds receivable by a company into personal accounts, VAT discrepancies, and failure to cooperate with receivers.
All in the past, but surely a fair cause for concern?
This.
Don't have a problem with either Sluffy or Bob but the relentless positive spin on Anderson's track record, his unprofessional behaviour, his media hype and the accounts that Anderson himself cooks up is wearing to the point that even I have lost the will to bang on about my distrust of the man.

Speaking of worn out knobs, I'm hoping Buckley leaves in January.

I agree with you Glos that laughs are in short supply, given our predicament, and I'm afraid the joys of accountancy are very much beyond me.
I always think accountants are up to no good.

A couple of wins over Christmas would help.
Let's start with a couple of shots on target!

Is the second option in the poll deliberately sarcastic?
