Anyone been watching David Attenborough's series on wildlife?

Best thing that's been on TV in ages in my opinion.

To be fair Sluffy, it's a brilliant series, beautifully shot. It's often brutal and hard to watch, but I grew up watching Attenborough on Zoo Quest, and here he is still doing the business.
Hard to see how they could improve on this.

I've watched Attenborough's shows since I was a kiddie and they just get better and better. A clever touch that they have never done before, was to give the animals names, which seems to make you more emotionally invested in them. 

I thought the painted Wolves one was the best, and I don't even like the animal.

Yes, that was my favourite one also but they were all very good.

I don't know if you watch the 'Secret Life of the Zoo' (Chester Zoo) but they too follow animals with 'names'.

I highly recommend the series if you haven't seen it before.

Too much death an violence. getting sick of Attenborough as he seems to want to concentrate on the animal side of animal life

A brilliant series, hard to imagine it was filmed over many many months. I'd never heard of painted wolves but it turns out that they are just Cape hunting dogs which have been given a new name! We take all these wonderful animals for granted and with mans increasing population and deforestation it's looking grim for some of natures children.
