The other day i went to the pub with a mate and his workmate that i had never met, my mate Frank insisted on getting the first round of drinks 3 pints as it turned out. Anyway i got the next round in another 3 pints which we almost finished then i said i'm going for a slash, frank said are we having another i said why not then his mate said i'll get this one so off i go to the bog followed by frank leaving his work mate to get the pints. we get back and his workmate is sitting there drinking a new pint, he only bought one his we sat down amazed watching him drink his beer as if nothing was wrong then he says i got to go nice meeting you see you at work frank. When he said i'll get this one he meant his. So Rounds or BYO what do you do.

Always get a round in, but if someone's taking the piss they can f*** off.

I don't think I've ever been in an establishment that serves alcohol and bought my drinks at the bar. How common. You don't know who you'll be rubbing shoulders with.

I don't frequent public houses. I sometimes make an exception if I'm carrying a duck under my arm.

Rounds. Don't let one cheap bastard ruin it. You should have said something to him BTW- he shouldn't have accepted your offer of a pint if he couldn't buy you one back.

You always stand your corner, guessing this guy wont have many mates, also guessing Frank won't be singing his praises either.
I worked with a guy who kept 99p in his desk , hoping someone wanted a pound changing. He made 1p every time, BUT everyone thought he was a tosser. They can't help it, will be inherited from a tight arsed Dad lol.

Well Frank had a go at him at work and the short of it is the guy said i thought you invited me to the pub for my company not to get me to buy drinks which left Frank gobsmacked. Have to say i have not stopped laughing but Frank is embarrassed at bringing him a mistake he wont make again. He told the rest of his workmates and apparently he has not paid the lad that gets the sausage rolls and pasties at break time twice last week. This guy is new and a bit of a loner frank brought him to the pub because he felt he should make an effort to make the guy feel like one of the lads which clearly he is not going to be watch this space for i feel a day of reckoning is near.
