Apparently people in this country are now campaigning to clear the name of Michael Jackson.

I don't know if you have seen the Leaving Neverland documentary but it's not an easy watch at all. Frankly, the worst I was expecting to hear was along the lines of "he touched my willy once or twice and sometimes my bumhole".
I won't go into detail because this is a family message board, but let's just say the accusations go a lot lot deeper than the occasional inappropriate feel. If the accusers aren't making it all up, arguably the greatest pop singer of all time was basically scum of the earth, and anybody defending him ought to be thoroughly embarrassed.
Now I don't deny that it could all be lies, but what I want to know is what makes people go to these lengths just to support somebody whose music they like. You expect to see these sad bastard fanatic types in America but over here?
There is nobody in music, or film or even football who I care about enough to want to campaign in favour of, at least not in these sort of circumstances.
