I am wondering if we have had more winding-up orders than away wins this season.
Whatever good Ken Anderson did when he came in has been more than undone by this constant brinkmanship with bills and winding-up orders.
There is such a need for a new direction and, when we go down, change should start with the squad.
We have acquired far too many journeymen with their best years behind them.
I have nothing against them individually, but they are not the future of the club.
Let’s see the back of the following, more or less in this order – Lloyd Dyer, Mark Little, Clayton Donaldson, Jason Lowe, Luke Murphy and Gary O’Neil.
It beggars belief that, in our financial circumstances, we have carried players who have hardly played like Dyer, Murphy and Little.
All we ask for is some hope.
