Bolton Wanderers can confirm that Jason Lowe will be sidelined for between eight and ten weeks.
The midfielder was withdrawn just eight minutes in Wanderers' Sky Bet Championship clash with Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium on March 16, being replaced by Pawel Olkowski.
A subsequent scan meanwhile has revealed that the 27-year-old has suffered ankle ligament damage, with him now set for an extended spell on the treatment table.
