WANDERERS academy graduate Jack Earing has signed a two-year deal with Halifax Town.
The midfielder, who made four appearances for Bolton in all competitions, will link-up with National League side when his contract expires at the end of the month.
Earing made his debut for Wanderers in August 2016, playing alongside another homegrown youngster Alex Perry against Everton’s Under-23s in the Checkatrade Trophy.
The following season he played twice in the EFL Cup – playing the full 90 minutes at Crewe in the first round and then replacing Craig Noone in the 70th minute at West Ham’s Olympic Stadium.
Earing signed his first professional contract at Bolton last summer but made just one first team appearance, as a substitute, in the final game of the season at Nottingham Forest.
The 20-year-old will play under former Bolton coach Jamie Fullarton at The Shay and becomes the West Yorkshire club’s first summer signing.
