Real madrid?.......Bayern Munich?......AC Milan?

Sadly none of the above, he's actually at West Middlesex Sunday Football League side AFC Kingston.

The 32-year-old, whose career has been beset by injury and left the Reebok Stadium this summer, is in talks with West Middlesex Sunday Football League side AFC Kingston after moving back to his native south east.

And the club’s bosses are hopeful the former England squad member can join the ranks.

His medical records are on the way down as we speak.

Always liked Sean Davis as a player - he was genuine premiership quality if not a superstar and I am gutted we didn't have the opportunity to get the best out of him. I pray Holden comes back and leads us into the Prem, but there will be a lot of pressure on him, especially if we continue to slip back whilst he's out.

He was paid in excess of £30,000 a week over three years at Bolton.

Everybody knows I don't like to bash Gary Megson too much...but this was a considerably bad signing.

Davis didn't have any special history of knee troubles before he signed - he played 40 games for Portsmouth in the season before he joined us.

Just unlucky with the injury.

Hardly Megson's fault.

Shit happens!

It was Coyle's fault.

A £5.4m three year contract for a 29 year old of his quality is in my opinion poor business, whether he's a walking sick note or not.

A six and two three's is the same total.

We bid £3 million for him - 6 months later we got him on a Bosman. The money we would have paid as a fee went instead on his wages - there's no such thing as a 'free' transfer for a player in demand.

Davis just got unlucky and so to did Megson - who knows what might have happened if Davis never got injured.

Just one of those things.
