I never met your dad Helen but you could tell from reading his posts on here what a genuinely kind and lovely bloke he was. Condolences to you and your family. His presence on this site will be greatly missed.

I have only just heard of the death of Rammy and wanted to offer my sincere condolences to Helen and all their family. I never met him but always believed that his patiently expressed views were based on a much greater knowledge and appreciation of the facts than those who might have begged to differ.
But he was hugely respected and will be missed as much by those who might have disgreed as by those who agreed with him.
RIP David

My condolences to both families, and as observer put it so well: may you find comfort with good memories.

I was wondering if we should have a collection that can be given to charity of Helen's choice? I know people don't usually like flowers at funerals and ask for a charitable donation these days.
I'm more than happy to donate and we could use BTID's paypal if that's ok with him?

I wouldn't just say this about any person who passed away, but I always found Rammywhite to be one of the most interesting, decent, likable posters I have come across on Wanderers forums.
I was genuinely upset when he wrote on here that he was poorly, I'm really saddened to read this thread, and touched that he asked for you to write on here.
Helen, I really hope you share all of these messages with the rest of your family as it just speaks volumes. So sorry for your loss.
