WANDERERS (4-4-2)

REMI MATTHEWS…5.5

Got away with one early on when his clearance bounced off Pigott and dropped narrowly wide. Steady other than that.

JASON LOWE…6.5

One of Bolton’s best in the first half, working hard down the right. But a hamstring injury a couple of minutes after the restart leaves Bolton with a big issue.

TOTO NSIALA…8

Rock solid on the day, winning everything in the air and making some crucial interventions in the penalty box. Probably his best 90 minutes for Bolton.

RYAN DELANEY…7.5

Encouraging debut and though Wimbledon’s direct nature might have played to his strengths the Irishman could only defend what they threw at him. And he did.

BRANDON FLEMING…6

Such an infectious attitude and often found himself as the furthest player forward on the left. He conceded possession a few too many times, though, which needs to be curbed.

DENNIS POLITIC…6.5

When Wanderers got him into the game he looked as smooth as silk until he reached the penalty box – and then things went a bit awry.

ALI CRAWFORD…4.5

Been influential in the last few weeks but this was a bad day at the office. Didn’t get to grips with the pitch at all and hardly made a telling contribution.

LUKE MURPHY…6

Popped up in both penalty boxes to decent effect but seemed to sit a bit too deep in the second half, which invited pressure.

ETHAN HAMILTON…6

Hill said he had asked Hamilton to play a particular role and the youngster certainly defended well. Would need a bit extra on the ball, ordinarily though.

JOE DODOO…6

Worked hard in the wider areas and linked up with Murphy on a couple of occasions but didn’t get close enough to goal.

DARYL MURPHY…6

Another one who put a big shift in. One good chance just before half time – and given Bolton’s lack of goals of late, each miss cuts that little bit deeper.
