MANCHESTER United have informed Wanderers that they will not be billing Wanderers for the services of Ethan Hamilton this season.

Though the deal has not been finalised, it is understood an agreement has been made in principal by the Premier League club to chalk off what is owed for the Scottish midfielder.

The money due to United is not a loan fee but rather a percentage of the players’ wage.

Wanderers cannot pay loan fees under the terms of their transfer embargo, which runs until the summer of 2021.

Hamilton started 12 games for Bolton, making his debut in the 2-0 defeat at Rochdale in January, and scored on his final appearance against Burton Albion in March.

His loan expired at the start of this month but could potentially be resurrected if clubs vote for the League One campaign to restart and Wanderers decide they need to retain their loan players.

Fair play to United, they have really stepped up in the crisis. They've been sensing out food to Hospitals every day and doing lots of work in the community with schools and the like.

Can they loan us 5 or 6 players for next season (whenever that is)?
