I like this a lot. Reminds me of early Pixies stuff who of course were also on 4AD. A cracking label with stacks of great bands over the years along with the best sleeve designs by Vaughan Oliver (RIP) and Chris Bigg who both inspired and heavily influenced my career. In my mid-twenties I'd spend hours on end every Saturday in the Beggars Banquet record shop in Putney marveling at the cover art and even buying music by bands I'd never even heard of.

Nobody's posted any Zappa for ages (and I think it was me that posted that anyway. Whatever happened to Soul Kitchen. Used to be able to rely on him for a bit of moral support). This is Frank trying for a hit single and failing miserably as usual. It's Frank Zappa so obviously the lyrics aren't going to be exactly radio friendly. but it's still a brilliant tune and should have been a No.1 worldwide smash hit. (With a bullet).

RIP Humpty Hump, his band Digital Underground were funky and funny and a good antidote to the gangster rap that dominated hip-hop at the time.

Very true. My favourite Digital Underground track is 'No Nose Job', an absolute classic. And that is 2Pac coming out of the lift in the video, before anyone knew who he was.
