[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]BOLTON WANDERERS are delighted to confirm that official shirt sponsor Home Bargains has renewed its relationship with the club for the 2020/21 Sky Bet League Two campaign.

The Liverpool-based firm, which has over 500 stores throughout the UK and several stores in and around the Bolton area along with a brand new retail unit opening this year on the Middlebrook Retail Park, initially partnered with the club last season to have its brand displayed on the front of Wanderers’ home and away shirts.

Chairman of Bolton Wanderers Football Club, Sharon Brittan, said: “We are thrilled to welcome back Home Bargains as a very important and highly valued partner for the new season.

“As a business based in the North West their approach is very much focussed on the community which naturally aligns with our One Club, One Community, One Town vision.”

A spokesperson for Home Bargains, said: “During what is set to be an exciting year for Bolton Wanderers we are pleased to continue our sponsorship of the club.

“This will also coincide with the opening of a new store on Middlebrook, which will enhance our already strong presence in the Bolton area.”

The Club will shortly announce details of its new kit for the forthcoming campaign.

Little known fact that these men invested £3M into the club back in may.

Don't know about that?

They've ceratainly not secured this loan if they have - which would seem a bit foolish in terms of knowing the virus prevented games being played and there was already talk of if and when play resumed it would be behind closed doors - therefore no fans - therefore no match day revenue.

What I do know though is that the owner of Home Bargains (Tom Morris) is the majority (80%) partner with Michael James (20%) in Prescot Business Park but he does have something like £30m secured on PBP assets from his other companys.

The business seems to be solvent to the tune of around £18m but its main assets are land and it is questionable if land value has fallen since all this virus kicked off - and what will be the new normal after it?

It does look between him and Sharron the club is still adequately financed if they decide to still finance the business personally - and they both seem keen to continue to do that.

I also wonder (whilst going back on thread) if Doyle's delayed signing announcement has anything to possibly do with waiting to the new strip is in stock and he 'models' the kit in his 'reveal' video by the club?

Just guessing about this bit though.
