I finished my Chemotherapy four weeks ago and yesterday I went to Blackpool Victoria Hospital for a CT Scan.
It was like a ghost town with just one entrance opened with security checks and every other entrance locked. It was one heck of a trek to the Cardiac Centre where they did the scan. Fortunately after a chat with one of the senior bods, they unlocked a rear door for us to creep out to a bench in the sun while we waited for our taxi to arrive. Results in 2 or 3 weeks.
Just slumping at home today, probably eating too much and drinking too much red wine.
