You're forgetting that we normally concede 2 goals per game on average so if we are going to nick it, it will have to be 3-2.
(I know Wednesday only scored 1 against us, but that only goes to show they were a bit shit).

No. It would have to be 4-3. For the very reason that Wednesday scored only one goal. The average is based on us, not our opposition so to keep up the trend expect us to concede three against Palace.

Palace have won three out of the last four ...... Smells like 2-2 to me.

Anybody else feel like the hostility in the crowd is having a positive effect on home performances?
One of the worst things about last season was the lack of commitment. Nobody in the stands ever complained so nobody on the pitch felt they needed ever respond with that bit of effort.
Suddenly, we're back to the Megson-days mentality, where a lot of people are looking for reasons to groan, and the players look scared of putting a foot wrong, and willing to redeem themselves when they do.
I'm predicting a similar game to Watford and Derby.

I agree, sometimes presure brings out the best in people - certainly people at the top of their profession anyway.
No Bolton team should ever be allowed to turn up and go through the motions. Unfortunately Coyle and the crowd have let it happen too often.

I'm going for a big win, 3/4-0....ok maybe 3/4-1.
Apprantly coyle is going to give Sordell a chance to shine so we could see a change of partner for SKD.

Aaron,
Where have you heard that Sordell will be given a game? Is your source reliable or is it just speculation?

He is going to shine his boots and put them in his boot closet for safekeeping. Then sit in the stands and watch Afobe replace Ngog when Big Kev gets tired.

It was in the Bolton news the other day, couldn't find it on the net at the time but it was on the back page of the paper a couple of days ago.

I really can't wait for tomorrow!I really think the 250 Palace fans will go home to London, very very upset! I actually think one of our mis-firing strikers, could well get a brace tomorrow.
I think we will totally destroy them. My prediction is Bolton 2 Palace 1

@MarvinSordell: Game 2moro, home for 2 of my boys bdays and to see the mrs, lunch with the fam on sunday and a house viewing on monday
Of course, this could as easily mean that he will be at the game - not taking part.

A real tester this game today. Palace are a Jekyll and Hyde team and the challenge will be to deal with whichever Palace team turn up on the day. They've shown sparks of genius in some games and have been appalling in others. We need to show some further improvement today, especially in defence where we were marginally better last time out.

I really don't get the resentment toward Sordell.
what has he actually done wrong? Nothing.
