Only one of them needs to win or both tie.

I reckon the pressure is on Woods and Stricker. Kaymer does the business! Absolutely brilliant!!!

It's times like this when I wish I had invested in Sky. Europe only need 1 point and we are guaranteed half a point from Kaymer. What an amazing game.

Molinari wins the last hole which means we won out right the Ryder Cup - rather than retained it!

Wonderful!

Can't understand anyone who doesn't love this competition!

What a night, some of the golf on show yesterday was world class. You can why Rory is world number 1.too, some of his bunker shots were top drawer.

Their will no doubt be an inquest from the US media on how they fucked that lead up.

Must admit not a big fan of golf, in fact I really do not like watching it!!! But even I have to admit that I have been glued for most of the weekend watching the US go for glory only for us Europeans to beat them right at the end.

One question, though, I can understand the Stars and Stripes being used for USA but why the EU flag for Europe when there are still quite a few European counties that are not in the EU, when did they start using the EU flag and did they use before?

Originally the Ryder Cup was contested between the USA and the UK . Europe joined forces with the UK much later.
