WANDERERS (3-5-2)
MATT GILKS…6.
Made one smart block with his feet from Powell in the first half but didn’t have anything too tricky to handle. Struggled with his longer kicking without the target of Kioso.
HARRY BROCKBANK…6.
Has been waiting for a chance as the right-sided centre-back and didn’t let himself down. Happy to bomb on as a full-back later in the game after the change in shape.
RICARDO SANTOS…5.
Seemed slow to react to the darting runs of Nadesan in the first half and left standing for the goal from Francomb. Won plenty in the air, defensively, but little threat in the opposition box.
REISS GREENIDGE…5.
Struggled in the latter stages when his lack of game time seemed to tell. His second yellow was harsh but stemmed from a weary pass and challenge.
LLOYD ISGROVE…6.
Seemed a bit wasted as a wing-back, which also forced Doyle to fill in the gaps further forward. Much better in a 4-2-3-1 and put in some good crosses later on.
ANDREW TUTTE…6.
Helped keep Crawley hemmed in for the final 20 minutes but the midfield had been pretty passive up to that point.
ANTONI SARCEVIC…5.5.
Influential in patches, again. Wanderers need their skipper to have a consistent influence on the game rather than playing in pockets.
GEORGE THOMASON…6.5.
Should have got himself on the scoresheet but one of the only Bolton players whose performance stayed constant. Always asking for the ball, always looking to be positive.
GETHIN JONES…6.
Effective early on where he put in a couple of quality deliveries from the left but had a fairly quiet second half.
NATHAN DELFOUNESO…5.
Missed the best chance of the game from close range. Failed to build on a decent first 25 minutes to fade out of the game.
EOIN DOYLE…6.5.
Did pretty much everything but score. Hit the bar, missed a couple he should have scored, filled in as a link-man, a winger and a central midfielder.
Subs: None.
Not used: Crellin, Taft, Delaney, Comley, Crawford, Darcy, Baptiste.
Crawley (4-4-2): Morris; Davies, Craig, Tunnicliffe, Dalison; Powell, Francomb, Hessenthaler, Matthews; Nadesen, Nicholls.
Subs: Bulman 70 (for Francomb), Ashford 70 (for Matthews), Sesay 87 (for Nadesan).
Not used: McNerney, Frost, Galach, Nelson.
Referee: Samuel Barrott 6/10 – The second yellow for Greenidge felt harsh and the ref turned down a good shout for a handball in the first half too.
