Ever been Rescued/ Rescued Somebody???

Thinking about the bloke from Ramsbottom , who thought it would be a good idea to go White Water Rafting in the Irwell, finished up having to be rescued after nearly drowning.
Poor bloke, probably set off with good intentions, with some old Dinghy he had in the garage, thinking ideal conditions at last, i'm going for it.

Ended up on News at Ten... Anybody on here done out like it...or been the Rescuer???

I saved my brother from watching piranha 3DD. Does that count?
