Should be an easy home win, but predictably we'll come unstuck.
0-1 to the Barrow.
0-1 to the Barrow.

It all depends on whether or not our lot get complacent or cocky after our recent success imo.
Play our best with maximum effort and we should win barring a freak goal or bad decision- which can happen in any game.

I also think we should win this, but I think back to the old days, not too long ago, when we have played really well, and then come up against a lower team who are playing crap, and we've been dicked. Quite often because the team were beginning to believe their own hype. I see all these 'certs' as a definite banana skin, which we are often fond of stepping on.

Preview: Bolton Wanderers vs. Barrow
Wanderers will be looking to continue their winning streak when they host Barrow for the very first time at the University of Bolton Stadium on Saturday (Kick Off 3pm).
Pre-Match Quotes:
Ian Evatt: “It is a special game because of what I achieved there last year and what we achieved as a group. It helped me to get this opportunity here, and Saturday aside I wish them all the best. I want them to do well.
“The players understand that this is just another game of football and another chance to get three points. It’s an opportunity to keep progressing up the table.
“The players are full of confidence and spirits are high but we're not complacent, we’re hungry. We’re working hard to make sure this run continues.
“If you look at Southend’s recent results and how well they have done then you can’t take our result there for granted. You have to find a way to win games in different ways.
“We want to win the game. We want to start fast and take the game to them. It’s a cliché but we want to win the game first and foremost and then after Saturday wish them the best in getting the points they require.”
Rob Kelly: “We’re only going to get out of the trouble if we pull in the same direction.
“If we’d had the supporters in the stadium of late it would have been a massive help, but the club tell me we have a good following [on iFollow] and social media.
“The club is very much a symbol of the town, so we have a responsibility to those people.
“It’s not about me, it’s got to be about all of us, and if we can do our best and genuinely put a working shift in, and people can see that, I think they will take it.
“That’s all I ask, that’s all we ask of each other. To be giving it a right good go.”

Just as the game appeared to be heading to a defeat for Wanderers, Captain Antoni Sarcevic levelled matters with a volley deep into time added on to earn a dramatic point for Ian Evatt’s men.

I wouldn't have left Thomason out, he had a good game midweek.
And no goalkeeping sub again, it will catch us out one day.

It could have been a real banana skin this game and it would be a great achievement if we got promoted this season.boltonbonce wrote:The Bolton juggernaut is gaining speed.
Shame I missed the game as I fell asleep as my tendinitis pain eased off.
I could do with nurse Whittam looking after me.

To be fair KP, it was a shocker, aside from the last 30 seconds.karlypants wrote:

The stats on the beeb showed we had 14 shots albeit only 5 on target but looks as though we had the majority of posession?
Barrow only managed 2 shots.
Just noticed we scored in stoppage.
