Hello and welcome to all from WW.

Sorry to see your forum in trouble and please feel free to use Nuts as your temporary home until things can be resolved one way or another.

For now perhaps use this thread as your base and once it gets busy, then we'll set up a bit more of a substantial home for you on Nuts.

For those who might not know what has happened, it seems that 'Happy' has left his computer business about three weeks ago and I'm guessing that he's also left WW forum behind too, as presumably he's now nowhere to host the forum as he had been doing from the spare capacity on his company server?

I've attempted to contact him at the WW Twitter account and will let you know if and when I get a reply from him.

The rubber grip on my cricket bat handle is looking somewhat worse for wear. Could any of you fine chaps enlighten me on the best way to replace a cricket bat rubber?

Well, that does seem a lot simpler than the advise those ruffians offered. I wish I'd have seen this first 😳

I've tried it, and it's harder than it looks. Thank god I no longer play.

I have similar feelings listening to some of KP's music posts.  Very Happy

And didn't Ozzie Osbourne have to buy a new bat?

They've got a carrot and coriander soup thread. I'm impressed.

This thread got me thinking of when i started to use forums many years ago. The first one i used was the 606 site and then when that closed there was a similar one started (was it called JA606?).

I remember a certain Natasha Whittam posting a link to a BEL and the rest is history, so Norpig haters you know who to blame for me being here  Very Happy

A bit of a strange post today from the owner of WW, this is the Thread title and what he posts underneath -

Donations please to help me

Please donate for and my health

https://www.wanderersways.com/forum/topic/92748-donations-please-to-help-me/

That's all, no details or links to crowdfunder or anything???

The bloke deliberately went out of his way to fuck our site when we first started it and banned me a couple of times from WW because he wanted to I guess, as I didn't say or do anything unreasonable or abusive - I'm not that type of person any way.

Still I bear him no grudge - it is only the internet - and hope he gets well soon.
