Ok next up the very much in form Swansea.

How do we win this one - or do you think Coyle would rather we didn't to concentrate on the league?

It will be a similar line up to the one against Macc.

If Tuncay gets a run out, it will be on the right. Davies will get another chance to show that he's no longer useful and Klasnic will play, and as he always does in cup matches and 50% of league matches - lazily.

I think both managers will put out weaker sides, Swansea don't have the greatest away record so I reckon we may nick this one.

Another 3-1 to the Whites (bolton not swansea) Very Happy

My thoughts are along similar lines as those of Doffcocker....

Will go for a Bolton win, though. Bolton 2 1 Swansea

I think we will go for the win just for the feelgood factor. 2-0 to us!

It's time for Coyle to pick our strongest team - another home win after the Liverpool result will do wonders for our confidence.

The same side that played on saturday should be playing against swansea in my opinion.
Though knowing coyle he might think that side can't play 2 games in the space of 4 days.

I imagine we may see Ream get a run out.

I hope ream is match fit. As Doffcocker pointed out, he is a left sided player. He could play left back and Sam Ricketts could play right back.

it should be a strong side as there is a chance we could do well in this competition - some big clubs will be out by the time the 5th round comes along.

Think we should play our strongest possible team, and go for it.

After all don't think any of us, want to pay money to watch us lose.

I will be gutted if we lose because we put out an inferior team. Coyle must know that the fans are desperate for us to do well, plus we need to exorcise the demon of last years semi-final.

Coyle himself has said he has a great affinity for the cup and rates his achievements in it as some of the best times he had as a player. I'm sure he'll do the best he can with the resources he has. A few changes I'm sure will be made but I think we can all see he'll be going all out to win through to the next round.

Coyle must know that another win will put us in the right frame of mind and set us up nicely for the midweek game against Arsenal.

I am meeting a couple of Gooner mates next Wednesday and I hope we stuff them. They are not all that confident with Wenger at the monent.

I'm pretty certain Coyle knows that Arsenal aren't anywhere near their best ust like Liverpool. I'm starting to change my mind on Coyle's tactical ability, or lack thereof.
I expect the same quick closing down of the ball with a five man midfield and swift breaks forward using the wings and Mavies. I think if we play like that then Arsenal may be less of a stern test than Swansea will prove to be on Saturday.

Well the day has arrived and it looks like it is going to be a bitterly cold one. Here in Manchester, everything is covered in frost.

I hope Mr Hill remembered to switch the undersoil heating on overnight.

Trying to think of the last time we played Swansea at home, only one I can remember is when Andy Walker got injured and Scott Green came on and scored two.
