Holden is now back from America and should start training at Chorley on the long road back. I expect to see him back in the first team by January at the latest. If not, we're all doomed.

Great news.
My only fear is how much of a toll this has taken on his body, and the liability for reoccurence.

He'll never play for BWFC again.

A tad premature. His rehab in the USA has gone quite well and he is still young.

If he comes back anything like Chnngy then i'm not getting my hopes up.
IMO though the lad a naturally fit player so once he is back in full training he should have no problem slotting back into the team.

If he "never played again" that would mean he gets re-injured in training or something.
that would be a cruel blow.

One of two things will happen.
1) He won't be the same player and will never play at this level again
2) Owen Coyle will sign him in the January window
I hope it's number two for his sake.

Whatever the case it's sad, he proved he could play in the top 10 in the premier league.
If he didn't get his injuries i could see him playing for a club like Everton or Fulham and doing well.

It's the world we live in. 20 years ago he'd only have been out for a week.

Indeed, they were real men back then.

I'll be so chuffed if he comes back showing the form he had before he was injured. Much needed.

I agree it would be great, he wouldn't help the team much though, he would be traipsed round all the 'big' clubs like cahill was...

Did anyone see the 'Exclusive' interview held in the fanzone before yesterday's game? If so what was said?

He'll be back and he'll play again. What he needs is support to get back to his best. Chungy is starting to get there. It'll take time to find your form again after a long lay off. A negative reaction from the fans will just put an end to that.
I'm just going to be thankful they're both currently trotters and leave it at that. Anything else is a bonus as they're both quality.
