This is a must win now if only to steady the ship after shipping 7 goals in the last 2 games. I reckon a narrow win, either 1-0 or 2-1.

Important that Santos is on his game for this one. They’ll be under many aerial hoofs against this lot.

0-1 Gillingham.
They'll score early with their only shot on target. We'll huff and puff for the rest of the game with 68% possession and miss a couple of chances Bonce would have put away. I'll leave after 75 minutes vowing never to go again.
Evans out.

I can't call this one till I see the line up. Once I see that, I'll be spot an as usual (except the Wigan match).

I actually quite like that line up but I’m not sure where the goals are in it? Dapo can certainly do it and can Doyle finally hit form after all that’s gone on? Will Kachunga actually decide to shoot when in the box instead of passing? We shall shortly see?

He's only gone and put Isgrove at wingback! Evatt obviously reads our discussions on Nuts.
All he needs to do is swap Kacha for Baka and play him through the middle with Doyler and we've cracked it

The strong late finish papers over the cracks. We should have been dead and buried.

I really cannot see how you could like that line up with Kachunga in it.Whitesince63 wrote:I actually quite like that line up but I’m not sure where the goals are in it? He wasn't as poor in the second half as he was in the first but wouldn't that have been close to impossible?
Not surprised the game changed when he was subbed. Delfouesno didn't do a lot mind you, but when does he?

Well we managed to rescue a point but the performance wasn't great especially the first half.
Yet again we conceded early and they deserved to be booed off at HT. Second half we looked better but i didn't think we were going to score one nevermind two.
As for the starting line up i was surprised to see Isgrove playing RB which didn't really work for me, he is good going forward but he did get caught out defensively. Aimson came on at HT and looked much better than Johnstone to me so he deserves a start next game. Kachunga is just not cutting it for me and he didn't have a great game.
It did look like Evatt changed the formation slightly in the first half as Williams seemed to be the only holding midfielder but he changed it back second half when Sheehan went off deservedly in my eyes.
The crowd were getting annoyed with the constant passing back and sidewards in our own half and it is annoying especially when we are 2 down. We need to have a plan B but Evatt doesn't seem to have one.
Ali in all a point rescued but we need to be much tighter at the back and stop gifting early goals and giving us a mountain to climb every week.

As I have said before - we are a decent mid table team that's all - currently 12th --- and that would be success from where we came from last year.
After the first half I was saying looks like we need Sarc back but we looked better in the second half.
Still to slow getting the ball into their box - that for me is the number one issue lately.
The MJ miss from one yard out was all but laughable.
Onwards.
