This is getting ridiculous now and somebody needs to look into what’s going on. Too many clubs are calling off games and it’s out of order. Either the players and management haven’t been following the guidelines or there’s some fiddling going on. Either way it needs to be looked into by the EFL and any improprieties punished, even if it’s us.

Of the 33 scheduled EFL games on 26 December, 24 did not go ahead because of cases of coronavirus.
Your point 63 seems to be what Wimbledon is saying here -

Thing is though people are people and not everyone follows religiously the rules on Covid.
Over a quarter of EFL players haven't even bothered to have their first jab yet and they only have to stand behind someone who has it, in the queue at Tesco's or wherever and they catch it themselves type of thing.
It's may well not even be them doing anything like that, it could simply be their kids bringing it home from school, or their wife from the beauty parlour or a million other ways. They could be catching it from the support staff at the clubs, it might not be the players themselves who let their guard down.
I don't think anybody sets out to catch it deliberately but I do reckon most people aren't afraid of catching it unless they are vulnerable to it in some way by means of being old and/or seriously ill.
It's just something that we have to live with and football has to deal with in the same way as all the other entertainment and leisure business have to do as well.

No doubt all these clubs cancelling games over Covid will be moaning about the amount of games they have to play come April/May.
