Ian Evatt.
Managers get all the stick when things are going wrong but they don't get a proportionate amount of praise when times are good (unless they win a trophy).
However, individual matches have swung on Evatts in game decision making, too many to mention them individually but super subs changing games or scoring, formation changes which have won us points, wonderful to watch football, players dropped or hooked off when not at their best (even Dapo), big calls he seems to have got right, like letting Doyle go. The signings he has brought in are proving he is getting something right. The timing of his tactical substitutions, bringing in new players who are clearly prepared to slot into the system and work and run hard, the team continuing to attack when 3-0 up... The list really does go on.
So thank you Ian Evatt. Whatever happens. You have brought football home.
