Ian Holloway has praised Wanderers’ transfer business following their 3-0 win at 10-man Gillingham.
Aaron Morley and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson – two of the Whites’ January signings - were on target at the Priestfield Stadium.
The likes of Dion Charles, James Trafford and Marlon Fossey have also hit the ground running since joining Bolton.
Declan John also got on the scoresheet against the Gills as Ian Evatt’s men returned to winning ways and kept their play-off hopes alive.
Holloway – who managed Evatt at Blackpool – insists Wanderers’ recruitment is paying off with results on the pitch.
The former Blackpool boss also singled out Iceland international Bodvarsson for praise, calling his strike “a top-class goal”.
Speaking as a pundit on EFL on Quest, Holloway said: “(Evatt) is a wonderful fellow. He’s done this in two windows.
“He brought Morley and Bodvarsson in during the last window and look at them. (The third goal) is a top-class goal.
“So I wish him all the best. He’s won two promotions in two years with different clubs, so can he do it again?”
The Whites remain 11th in the League One table but have moved a point closer to sixth-placed Sheffield Wednesday.
Evatt’s men are back in action on Tuesday night when they welcome Morecambe to the UniBol (KO 8pm).
