Last Tuesday a neighbour of ours who lives across the road, reversed her new automatic Volvo out of her drive at high speed. She continued down our drive scraping the side of our bungalow and ripping off our full-fibre broadband box off the wall, finally stopping by crashing into my wife's Fiat 500, smashing a rear light and damaging the back of the vehicle.
Bt have since restored our broadband and therefore our digital voice phone connections too.
On Thursday I lost the use of my left arm for half an hour then again a bit later, dialed 999 and waited for an ambulance for 2 & 1/2 hours and spent a very unpleasant night in A&E at Backpool Victoria Hospital. Transfered to the Stroke ward, had a Ct scan, then a Doppler test on my neck and finally allowed home. In 3-4 weeks time I have to have a heart monitor fitted to me for 7 days to see whats going on with my ticker.
I'm on a high dose of Asprin and Lansoprazole for two weeks, then replacing the Asprin with Clopidogrel.
I've had better weeks.
