I told the Mrs not to scraupe her feet all over my leg when she put them on me when sitting on the couch.

She said. What's scraupe?

I googled it. Nothing.

Is it not even a real word? And has anyone heard of it before?

Same think with skrike. Eg. Babies are always skriking.
