Wanderers striker Tom Eaves believes his spell at Bristol Rovers will improve his game when he returns to the Whites at the end of next month.
The 20-year-old Liverpudlian has netted five goals in 10 outings for the Pirates since joining on a three-month loan in September.
And he feels he is gaining experience all the time.
Eaves, who scored the matchwinner in a 3-2 Rovers win over Chesterfield on Saturday, is enjoying working with Mark McGhee and said: “The gaffer is really good and helps me a lot.
“I respect everything he says.
“He is helping make me a better player with every game I play.”
McGhee responded by praising Eaves and added: “For a player on loan to show such commitment to the cause shows that Tom has great character and we are thrilled to have him here.”

Sounds to be one of the more promising loanees we have sent out for a few years, glad to see him scoring at least.
