Free ipad for every school kid!

My job took me to Essa academy the other day (that new school on Lever Edge Lane). Well guess what the staff told me there. All the year 11 pupils are to be given an ipad 2, each. Every single pupil in that year!!!

What the hell?

So, I work a million hours a week and can't afford an ipad. Some bunch o 15 and 16 year olds who go to school for abot 200 days per year are going to be given one for free. What for? Who is footing that bill?http://www.essaacademy.org/our-academy-building.html

I din't even get free toast when I was at school. What is the point in giving them ipads to PLAY ON, or SELL aka "lose"!

It's already a school which is better than most peoples houses. Talk about luxury. I would pay to stay there if it were a hotel. Big flat screens everywhere. Better sports facilities than Bolton Wanderers etc etc...

fuck me, free Ipads to children in a school who's main catchment area is great lever...

The smackheads are going to be queuing up in droves to rob them.what a masterstoke by the school to tell a contractor (i assume you are) and have him print it in a forum...

I suppose though, even if you hadn't the BEN would have ran an 'exclusive' on it though...

failing that, the kids themselves or the kids parents are just going to sell them.
