A convincing win is required today. With Oxford and Pompey coming up we need confidence and goals to be flowing.

Fantastic lusty and not only have we gone top and points in front but we’ve made up an incredible 11 goals difference on Pompey and 9 on Oxford in just one game. If that doesn’t fill us full of confidence and scare the opposition I don’t know what will? 🤗

Expected a comfortable win, but seven? Happy days.

Really pleased for Dan The Man, because I've given him a bit of stick in recent weeks, and it was a well taken, and well deserved goal.

Can't wish for better than that going into a tough spell. Hopefully, we can take that confidence into the Oxford and Pompey away games without risking anyone important in the FA Cup.

That was a great day, despite a slow start, worth 4 points. onwards and upwards.

What can you say - 10 out of 10 performances.
Hard to pick a MOM but Paris has surprised me with his improvement in the last few weeks. That lad has potential to be a monster in midfield. Baxter was playing defensive back half the time.
Onwards.

Guess who missed the game because he had a family do that evening?  Shocked

My niece's lad missed it because he'd done his back in paying football. He's a keeper, and plays for two teams.
Serves him right for being 15 and a show off.

How does he manage when they play each other or do they only use one net?

Agree completely on Paris TA but what concerns me is what happens to him at the end of the season. Does he go back to Brentford a much better player to push for a PL place, does his form alert other clubs with deeper pockets to come in for him or does he sign permanently here and if so how much do Brentford expect for him? I suppose unless we do get promoted it’s one of the first two but it will be interesting to see what does happen.

It was a bit like recent games for 35 minutes. Unable to make much headway with our front two being easily dispossessed.

But Exeter were poor, really poor offering nothing in attack (it was like a walk in the park for Santos all afternoon) and collapsing like a pack of cards in the second half.

Magoma has started to show that he has something different, making our forward play less predictable whilst some of our play, especially down the right was excellent and incisive. Not too much down the left flank but Bod showed that he's a class above when it comes to hold up play.

I'm expecting Oxford to offer sterner resistance tomorrow.
