It was a night to remember for Josh Sheehan as Wanderers held their annual End of Season Awards at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
The midfielder won the Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season prizes after an impressive campaign.
Sheehan has played a key role in the middle of the pitch, managing 12 assists in 42 League One appearances so far.
His consistent performances also earned a couple of opportunities to represent Wales in the friendlies against South Korea and Gibraltar earlier in the campaign.
The ceremony took place in the Premier Suite following the 2-0 victory against Port Vale earlier in the day.
The evening was hosted by Wanderers fan Vernon Kay and featured speeches from Ian Evatt, Nick Luckock and Phil Mason, while Sharon Brittan was also in attendance.
Paris Maghoma was named Young Player of the Season, having impressed since arriving on loan from Brentford.
The 22-year-old has scored nine goals in 47 matches so far, including a stunning strike against Charlton.
Aaron Collins’ thunderbolt against Reading won the Goal of the Season prize. It was the first of a brilliant hat trick against the Royals.
The Welshman has already produced several moments of magic in the final third since joining from Bristol Rovers in January, including the opener against Port Vale.
There were also awards to recognise dedication off the pitch, such as Supporter of the Season and Community Star.
