True, but you don't know for a fact that would happen under any manager. The aim is to get in the PL and worry about staying up at a later date.

Well barring a large investment, we would struggle in the prem, whoever was in charge. Mick has proven that he isn't a premier league manager IMO. And after the first big defeat the boo boys would be out. Simple as that.

And obviously it's all speculation at any rate, Mick might have had us a few places higher up, he might have had us rock bottom and lost all the games 0-5. So it's all pie in the sky really. But i think it's a given that the fans were not happy "just surviving" in the prem, so.....
