How many Players in the last 20 yrs who have come through our youth system and made it?

Can think of two, Kevin Nolan and for a time Nicky Hunt.

Jason Mcateer, Alan Stubbs, Vaz Te.

I can't remember McAteer coming through the Academy. We signed him from a non league club when he was in his early twenties.

I'm pretty sure Stubbs came through the academy as did Vaz Te, but didn't Vaz Te play for a Portuguese team before he came to us ?

Walters isn't one, he was signed from Blackburn.

Nolan wasn't really our academy player as such, we nicked him from liverpools if I remember rightly?

Nolan signed for us when he was 16 and played for our youth team before making it to the first team... He's the kind of player i meant when posting the Topic and there doesn't seem to be many more.

Danny Ward, Kevin Wolze, Chris Basham and Jaroslaw Fojut are all awfully average

We sold Basham to Blackpool before he had time to establish himself at wanderers, mind you, I have never heard of him since.
