THERE ARE NO TRAINS OPERATING TO BOLTON DUE TO A TRAIN DERAILMENT AND FIRE!!! Only way of getting to Bolton is by bus (which will take forever as the main roads - The Crescent (A6) and Oldfield Road are also closed due to the incident or by tram to either Radcliffe or Bury and then catching the bus.

Not a Major incident - Ie: no passengers on the train and no injures/loss of life thank god.

It sounds to me like the train had its brakes stuck on.
